We're home!!!!!!!

These pictures are at our Granddaughter Aprils and her and Jason's sweet kids. Taylor, Riley and Kaileigh. We got the train for them on our train trip to Santa Fe.
I got to leave my handprint on their house by making curtains for all their bedrooms. What fun. Thank you Jason for helping and Bruce.
We left about 5 on Sat and drove almost to Atlanta. Got HOme yesterday about 5. in the afternoon.

As I think back over the trip I wouldn't take anything for the love and memories that I will cherish the rest of my life and I know Bruce feels the same way.
Josh was a blessing to us.

And we have to thank everyone for making every visit so special. We love you dearly.

Saying that...This travel site is closed down for the unforseeable future!!!!!!

Here we are in Texas Hill Country. Beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at church today with my brother Clint and Ella.
Clint taught Bible Study. What a treat for me. A sweet girl that has won the East Texas Christian Music title sang at church. She goes to Brandson to complete next week. WOW. We are truely blessed.

Pastor's message Fork in the Road. Yes God has been speaking this whole trip. Josh is getting the message. But we are too...

It's been another one of those special times we will never forget.

We'll head to Tyler tomorrow to see Aunt Doris.

Home next Sunday Yeah......

We are at my brother, Clint's and his wife Ella. near Austin, TX.

Clint and I will be making green chili enchiladas later.

Ella is a mess, keeps us in stitches.

Josh has beat Clint and Popop in a popular game here called washers.

Like horse shoes.

Ella's a musician and she's teaching Josh to play the base guitar. More on that later.

We will be going to church with them tomorrow. They love the Lord and love the Bible and love people so we are feeling very blessed.
Those names did not come out right. Who was typing that?????

Here we are in the last town in our travels of New Mexico at my aunt Evelyns and Uncle Billy's. She's a great cook, oh have we eaten well. When we left, she packed us up with jelly, jam, frozen Green chile. We had a great time and hated to leave. Their son and my cousin, Stanley and his wife Christy.

Georgia's beginnings

This is where I began life. The ruins is my first home.
The barn and pump house (we called it) use to have a house and it burn down.
And the Buckhorn Bar where the owner beat Bobby Flay in the Green Chile Hamburger Throwdown is a place that I was not allowed to go in as a child.

Here are some pictures that show Josh working on my sister Sandra house, he laid floor for her in her bathrooms, yes and mostly by himself. He touch up painting on her stucco, he covered a entrance to her crawl space lid. He was a busy beaver. PLUS he did a great job.

Another picture of Josh with the youth pastor of 1st Baptist Albuquerque. They went on an overnight at Glorieta with 1000 youth on Labor day weekend. Josh has made great friend here in Alb. He is going to leave part of his heart here.

The other pictures are of my three sisters, my brother and his wife, and many cousins, and aunts and those people I didn't recognize that are also relatives. What a great time we have had.

We rode the train to Sante Fe one day and took pictures of history there. The Catholic Church that has a spiral staircase that was made without any nails.

Native Indians selling there jewelry and such on the square in Sante Fe.
We on the move in New Mexico. We have so many relatives here we can't even recognize them. My sister in law, Judy and myself have embarrrassed ourselves more than a few time.

We are going to the State Fair tomorrow here in Albuquerque, then we head to El Paso for a couple of days with my aunt and Uncle.
Then on to my other brothers near Austin, then lunch with a friend near Houston (if we can work it out)
Then on to another aunts in Tyler, then on to Alabama to our granddaugther. and then PTL home by Sunday the 27th I think.

We have long since lost count of the day and time.

Happy Holidays, Bruce, Josh and I arrived safely in Albuquerque last Thursday. It was nice to drive into my home state. Reminds me of where I came from and grounds me in a special way. I have a loving family which we have been enjoying to the fullest.

Josh has had a few eye opening experiences, for the good, hopefully someday he'll feel the same way. We have opened up the door to a lot of new opportunities for him and he has been really nice to our face about them.

We certainly see God at work and we thank you for your prayers. We and he really need them.

He is, as we speak, at a Youth conference with the 1st Baptist church in Glorieta with 1700 other youth. He was shocked that we sign him up, but he did give us an trouble in going.

Today's message at the church was so for our situation. Title, "Everyone needs a Jethro, someone who will kick you in the seat of your pants and give you a fresh start in life"

Why are we suprised when God is right on.

We went to Socorro County Fair. Socorro is my home town of 11000 people. They were all there.

We ate Navajo Tacos.

We are having so much fun and we will have a full 2 weeks here leave next Wed I think.
